Whenever we think about our childhood memories, the cartoons we watched then always crosses our mind. They have made us laugh and entertain throughout our childhood.

We had spent our days flipping through different channels like Cartoon Network, Disney and Nickelodeon. The most favourite of mine being Cartoon Network.

Cartoon Network is an American television channel launched on October 1, 1992. It primarily broadcasts animated series, ranging from a different genre from action to comedy. It mainly targets children and teenagers. Here’s the list of 10 evergreen cartoons aired on Cartoon Network:

10. The Flintstones

The Flintstones is a stone-age themed animated series whose creators are William Hanna and Joseph Barbera. The series mainly focuses on the stone age man’s day-to-day lifestyle with his family. Furthermore, the series was one of the most successful ones. The Flintstones became the longest-running animated television series that broadcasted over 3 decades.

9. Justice League

Justice League created by Gardner Fox is a fictional team of superhero published by DC Comics. It includes some superpower characters like Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Green Lantern, and the Martian Manhunter. The series was a hit among viewers. Justice League initiated the attraction of comics, cartoons, films and animated series in the media industry.

8. Dexter’s Laboratory

Dexter’s Laboratory is a science fiction animated series whose creator is Genndy Tartakovsky. It focuses on dexter’s genius inventions in his underground secret laboratory. Dexter often engages in a rivalry with the main antagonist Mandark. He also struggles to keep his sister Dee Dee out of the lab. Dexter’s Laboratory bagged 3 Annie Awards under its belt.

Looney Tunes is an American animated comedy series produced by Warner Bros. It Introduced Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Porky Pig, Wile E. Coyote, Road Runner, Sylvester, Tweety, Tasmanian Devil, Granny, and many other characters. The show gave birth the most recognized character like Bugs Bunny and Tweety.

6. Richie Rich

Richie Rich, often stylized as Ri¢hie Ri¢h, is an animated series created by Alfred Harvey and Warren Kremer. The series consists of Richie, Dollar – Rich family “Dollarmatian”, Cadbury C. Cadbury – The Riches’ butler, and Irona – The Riches’ robot maid Richie, the only children of incredibly wealthy parents became the world’s richest kid. The story revolves around the adventures of the rich boy.

5. Popeye the Sailor Man

Popeye the Sailor Man is an animated cartoon series distributed by Warner Bros. Elzie Crisler Segar created the series. It mainly focuses on 3 characters, Popeye, Olive, and Bluto; the villain. They often indulge in rivalry love fights. The show made eating spinach a mainstream thing because of its constant appearance and helping popeye gain strength.

The Powerpuff Girls is an action, adventure, and supernatural animated series created by Craig McCracken. It mainly consists of Bubbles, Blossom, and Buttercup, Mojo-Jojo, Mayor, and their father, Professor Utonium(later; villain). The city mayor often calls the three superpower girls to help fight against the criminals.

3. Scooby-Doo

Scooby-Doo is an adventure series that focuses on five characters Shabby, Fred, Scooby, Velma, and Daphne. Joe Ruby and Ken Spears created the series. Following the initial series, the Scooby-Doo was one of the biggest successes. That success leads to the creation of many animated movies and live-action.

2. Courage: the Cowardly Dog

Courage the Cowardly Dog, an animated horror-comedy series. Its creators are John R. Dilworth. Courage, an anthropometric dog lives with an elderly, married couple, Eustace Bagge and Muriel in the “Middle of Nowhere”. It focuses on the supernatural encounter by Courage and his owners. The power of the Computer that courage uses is still a mystery.

1. Tom and Jerry

Finally, the most beloved cartoon series – Tom and Jerry. All credited to William Hanna and Joseph Barbera. The series revolves around two main characters, Tom – the cat and Jerry – the mouse, focusing on the catching game between them. Tom and Jerry also got several movies. The series later became one of CN’s lifetime hit and got Hanna Barbera production 7 academic awards.
